Emily was introduced to Pilates through her dance training and was enamored by how the method could help her gain strength and feel more empowered in her body. Later, when Emily injured her back she returned to Pilates for rehabilitation. Her Pilates experience led her to a fascination of anatomy and how the body functions. She loves to share her knowledge and curiosity with others.

Emily is a fully Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, with additional certifications in TRX, and CORE Athletic Conditioning. She brings over 10 years of experience to a diversity of individuals, including those seeking injury rehabilitation, athletes, and people striving to move better through everyday life. She approaches the body from a holistic perspective, with an emphasis on developing sustainable movement patterns that can be applied in all parts of life. She has worked extensively with a variety of clients, and emphasizes body positivity in her practice. She is experienced in injury management and rehabilitation, and has worked extensively with an array of health conditions including: osteoporosis, arthritis, disk herniation, sciatica, scoliosis, low back pain, and pre/post-natal conditioning. She believes Pilates is a wonderful way for people of any fitness level to gain strength and ease in movement.
